A Girl at her Post Graduation!!

Alhamdulillah!! Finally i am a Post Graduate!! Yippie! I have two degrees now- One in Fashion & the other in Tourism Management! It was a fun filled convocation ceremony at Kuoni Academy the other day! Now, many people wonder & ask me as to why two completely different streams? I want to answer this by saying that i only have one life to live, so why not make the most of it? And i really don't want to limit myself with one thing. So i though of pursuing a course in tourism and i had a really good time at that! Now lets see whats next in store for me! Fingers Crossed!!

World Travel Studio: A new beginning....

Hello Everyone! So yesterday i got a wonderful opportunity to visit worldtravelstudio.com's office in Bandra. It was regarding an affiliation program. I guess there's one more feather added to my hat (or i can say, my headscarf :P)!! I'm now a freelance travel agent for world travel studio! Yay!!

It is a wonderful company with a great experienced staff. A company that believes in principles, which would not compromise on their standards just to make extra bucks. That is the thing that i like about them the most.

Anyways, next time if you plan to travel anywhere, you know whom to contact (ME, in case you don't understand the hint :P)

Now, coming to the office, it is a beautifully done up place. Even their website is so creative & wonderful! Kudos to the creative team!!! It has so many colors & is so lively & vibrant. I had a great time posing for pictures!!

The Elephant is the brand logo. There is a very significant reason to it- Elephant symbolizes India, it is also considered as very auspicious. And an elephant walks on its own triumphant pace, no matter what others are doing. (This is the cutest elephant i've seen :D)

Success Mantra!

Work Work

I absolutely loved this backdrop!

Yes, i really love to travel!!
And then begins the self obsession!

All in all i had a very good time!! Looking forward to a great new beginning!

Being Indian

Here’s wishing all my fellow Indians a very HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! On this 67th year of independence, I wish a bright future for my country. I wish India to be free from corruption, a place where women feel safe & secure, a place where there is no caste difference & all the people are treated equally. Where there is no religious or gender discrimination, where every person can earn a decent livelihood for himself.

Today everybody feels proud of being an Indian, but this feeling shouldn’t die down with the day. There are a lot of small things that we can do every day in order to make this place better.

Please do not litter in public. This is a very common habit in Indians, to throw away wrappers or waste on the roads or outside the trains. We should refrain from doing so, and also discourage others if we see anybody else doing the same.

Always be respectful in your speech. Do not use foul language or yell in public. Always maintain a decency level.

Respects other people & their religion as you would expect them to respect you. Do not hurt the sentiments of others with your speech or action.

Be proud of who you are. Nowadays, I see a lot of youngsters who fake an accent & look down upon people who speak a local language. Why? We should be proud of who we are! Be proud of talking in Hindi; it is our national language. Hindi me baat karne se koi chota nahi ho jata.

I would like to end this post with my favorite version of our national anthem. Watching this every time gives me Goosebumps & brings tears in my eyes. I hope you like it too!

Feel proud of being an Indian!

We had an amazing time gorging on the cupcakes & mini cupcakes :)
So many options to choose from & all the cakes were a delight & pleasing to the eye!
It's a wonderful place, a must visit if you have a sweet tooth!
