Ramadan Kareem!

Subhan Allah! The blessed month of Ramadan has arrived! Allah has given us another chance to witness this blessed month & to gain closeness to Allah & his beloved Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). May Allah allow us to pray & gain closeness to him & allow us to seek his forgiveness & gain his mercy.

  • Through fasting, a Muslim experiences hunger and thirst, and sympathizes with those in the world who have little to eat every day.
  • Through increased devotion, Muslims feel closer to their Creator, and recognize that everything we have in this life is a blessing from Him.
  • Through increased charity, Muslims develop feelings of generosity and good-will toward others. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said, "A man's wealth is never diminished by charity."
  • Through self-control, a Muslim practices good manners, good speech, and good habits.
  • Through changing routines, Muslims have a chance to establish more healthy lifestyle habits -- particularly with regards to diet and smoking.
  • Through family and community gatherings, Muslims strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, in their own communities and throughout the world.

Ramadan is a very special time for Muslims, but the feelings and lessons we experience should stay with us throughout the year. In the Qur'an, Muslims are commanded to fast so that they may "learn self-restraint" (Qur'an 2:183). This restraint and devotion is especially felt during Ramadan, but we all must strive to make the feelings and attitudes stay with us during our "normal" lives. That is the true goal and test of Ramadan.

May you & your loved ones all have a blessed Ramadan! Remember the whole of Ummah in your blessed prayers. May Allah grant his endless blessings on the whole of Ummah.
Keep me in your Duas!

Romantic Red!

The best feeling in the world is the feeling of being loved! My life took a 360 degree turn when my Prince Charming came in my life. I am so blessed & lucky to have him in my life. Before I met him, I imagined what the man of my dreams would be like. He's so much better than I ever imagined!

Look 2 is a classic combination of Red & Gold. I absolutely love the color Red as it is also the color of Love! As the neck & sleeves are already embellished, i chose to accessorize it only with a necklace worn as a headpiece. It is fun to wear stuff differently & other then the intended purpose. I hope you like the look!

Orange Blossom!

Hello beautiful people!

Its been a long time since i last posted on the blog. Finally done with the studies, I am trying to get used to being at work all day long, prioritizing things in life, trying to manage personal & professional life. It will take some more time but I'm sure everything will be smooth In Shaa Allah!

I have also made a page on Facebook dedicated to this blog, I hope you like it!

Coming to this & coming few posts, I'll be sharing a few ideas on how to style your hijab with Farashas. Farasha is basically an Arabic long dress. I had fun posing in them as it was something that I haven't tried before.

For this first look, it is an orange farasha with silver embroidery. Orange is a color which I don't remember I must've worn from head to toe. It is a very tricky color & not everyone can carry it confidently. But with right accessorizing, I am sure you can rock it!
